July 1 – August 11: IllumiNights at Busch Gardens
IllumiNights is the nightly extravaganza at Busch Gardensthat features live performances, music, special effects, and a park-wide fireworks spectacular. Each country in the park will put on special shows nightly at 5:30, 6:30, 8, and 9pm. The fireworks show will cap off the evening beginning at 9:30pm.
Celebrate the anniversary of America’s independence at Yorktown where you can see tactical drills, military demonstrations, and a rare printing of the Declaration of Independence dating back to 1776.
A full day of celebrations include a patriotic parade beginning at 9am along Water Street, a bell-ringing ceremony at 7pm, patriotic entertainment at 8pm, and fireworks on the York River at 9:15pm.
July 4: Fourth of July Celebration at Colonial Williamsburg
Celebrate the anniversary of the nation’s birth in the Revolutionary City! Join Colonial Williamsburg for a special militia muster. Enjoy a salute to the 13 original states, featuring music performed by the Fifes and Drums, flags of each state, the firing of muskets and cannon. The day concludes with fireworks visible from both Market Square and Palace Green.
The 22nd season of Summer Breeze concerts returns to Merchants Square. These open-air concerts will feature a variety of bands performing music from pop to dance to party. Concerts held 7-9pm.
The finalists of the coaster build-off contest will compete at Busch Gardens in this 5th annual event.
“Shagging on the Riverwalk” Beach Music Concert Series, at the Riverwalk Landing is held from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Put on your dancing shoes for this annual concert series featuring a variety of beach music for all ages to enjoy. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.
