"Very nice."

The hotel is in a good location with respect to restaurants in the area. You can walk to several good options. Hotel appears to have been renovated quite nicely. We had a room with 2 queen beds. It was really a small room, and they layout was a bit odd. But it was super clean and relatively quiet. Did hear some traffic noise late at night. The comforters on the beds were very, very lumpy and need replacing. They are just too thick, and there wasn't another blanket in the room to use. And since the A/C in the room didn't work, it was uncomfortable sleeping. Breakfast was typical of the "free" hotel offering. Would have liked to see a nice fresh fruit bowl of melons, berries, etc, but they served cut up fruit in some kind of juice that made all the fruit really soggy. It was nice that they had a bowl of fresh whole fruit (apples, etc) available all the time. Toasters need replacing.

I wanted to first start off by saying that Theresa at the Front Desk was excellent. She always had a smile on her face and was very friendly. She was very knowledgeable about the area and told us the best places to go to visit and which restaurants we should eat at while we were staying in Williamsburg, VA. The breakfast was good - myself would have liked more of a variety than what was offered but the rest of my family enjoyed what was offered. The indoor heated pool was not as heated as we would have liked but we did end up swimming a couple of times while we were there. If I were to visit Williamsburg, VA in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

"Really great staff!"

We stayed while visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Busch gardens. I would absolutely stay here again. Front desk staff is so helpful. Very nice property. Nice rooms and breakfast buffet. The only (and I mean only) criticism is if you have an anointing room the doors are thin so you can hear what goes on in the next room. As it happened one evening our neighbor was experiencing some apparently painful stomach distress which my son and I could hear. 😀

This was a great stay for this class of accommodations. The public and private areas were clean. There was plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and efficient (and suggested a great restaurant w/in walking distance- "Food for Thought"). The beds were comfortable. You will need a car to get to the historic area though.
