I wanted to first start off by saying that Theresa at the Front Desk was excellent. She always had a smile on her face and was very friendly. She was very knowledgeable about the area and told us the best places to go to visit and which restaurants we should eat at while we were staying in Williamsburg, VA. The breakfast was good - myself would have liked more of a variety than what was offered but the rest of my family enjoyed what was offered. The indoor heated pool was not as heated as we would have liked but we did end up swimming a couple of times while we were there. If I were to visit Williamsburg, VA in the future, I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel made you feel very welcomed .... Rooms were clean, the lamps were even clean which means the staff pays attention to detail, bed was comfortable, loved the big screen TV, got a boatload of Channels.
We stayed while visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Busch gardens. I would absolutely stay here again. Front desk staff is so helpful. Very nice property. Nice rooms and breakfast buffet. The only (and I mean only) criticism is if you have an anointing room the doors are thin so you can hear what goes on in the next room. As it happened one evening our neighbor was experiencing some apparently painful stomach distress which my son and I could hear. 😀
This was a great stay for this class of accommodations. The public and private areas were clean. There was plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and efficient (and suggested a great restaurant w/in walking distance- "Food for Thought"). The beds were comfortable. You will need a car to get to the historic area though.
