This hotel was great because it was close to Busch Gardens. We left Busch Gardens at 10:30 at night and were able to drive straight to the hotel. The rooms were a little small for the four of us, but we weren't there long enough for it to be a problem. Didn't eat breakfast there, so I can't rate it. We opted for Cracker Barrel which was very close. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were small and square (unusual) but each person had two, so it was fine. My daughter's phone did not charge, but everyone else's were fine. Must have been the outlet. Attendants were nice and friendly.
We stayed here over the New Year's weekend. It's not a bad hotel, but after a couple nights we were ready to go. I say that because the rooms are small and the bathroom is just inches from one of the two beds. We stayed four nights and that was too long in such a small room. The first night out A/C was so loud we could barely sleep. Every time it came on it made a terrible noise. We reported it twice and finally on the afternoon of our second day, the 3rd person we talked to had no idea about any issues with it, but to his credit he didn't hesitate one second and gave us a new room. On the following evening, we returned to find that our room had been missed by housekeeping. We called the front desk and the young lady apologized and arranged to get us fresh lines, etc. It happens, we know. The daily breakfast was good and made it worth the stay. The front desk staff are very friendly (even the one that didn't seem to do anything about the A/C) and you can't beat the location. We were minutes away from any attraction/venue we wanted to explore over the long weekend. Would we come here again if just for 1 or maybe 2 nights. On the survey below, it asks to rate the "service" - seeing how the maintenance request wasn't addressed and housekeeping missed our room, we can't go high - but again, the staff was friendly and courteous.

Pleasant enough room, although the pillows were very flimsy. We did not eat the breakfast but it looked good. Biggest disappointment was awakening to find that my phone had not charged. It was plugged into the same outlet as the telephone which was working. When I told the clerk at the check out desk he assured me that there was no special switch to get the outlet to operate. I have traveled all over the world and have never had my phone not charge properly. Caveat to anyone who stays here who relies on his/her phone for alarm, etc...check that the outlets are functioning.

1st of all....this was a last minute trip and I called to see if they had a vacancy. I talked to a man named Tim. Every business should have a "Tim". He was one of the nicest people I've ever done business with! When we arrived.....Amy checked us in and she was just as sweet as Tim was nice. Choice Hotels Inc. should be very proud of these two! Everything about our stay was great with one exception......the shower floor was dangerously slick. Otherwise, all was great including the hot breakfast! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!
