I was treated like more than just a guest at their hotel. They had great customer service and their recommendations on things to do on my trip were awesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go check out the Williamsburg area.

The room was nicely decorated. The staff are friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet location. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The hot breakfast is great (eggs, sausage and waffles). The only thing I would like is to see a few small box of whole milk as not everyone likes 2%. Have stayed here many times and will stay again.

We recently stayed here for our annual getaway to Williamsburg. We have stayed at several different hotels over the years. This one was not super remarkable but I don't have anything outstandingly bad to mention either. The breakfast was good, free, and hot (waffles, eggs, and sausage.) The rooms were not huge - an armchair instead of a loveseat or couch. It did have a refrigerator and microwave - which was perfect for me, because I never finish my food. The location is near all the restaurants in Williamsburg off Richmond Road. The bed was on the firm side, but not as firm as some places I've been. The room was decorated nicely. And the hotel is really quiet. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

"Amazing Return Visit, December 2016"

If you have read my previous review of Sleep Inn on Bypass Road in Williamsburg, you know that this hotel is a decent hotel, in which you get a lot for your buck. My wife and I were looking for a hotel on the relative cheaper side to stay at for our honeymoon in Williamsburg, where we would be going to places like Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg, and some of the other local attractions, in December of 2016. We have stayed at the Sleep Inn before and since we would be staying for a singificant amount of time (the week between Christmas and New Years) we wanted to stay here again, as we knew the hotel and could stay for a long time without spending a ton of money. Upon our arrival, the receptionist was extremely pleasant, answered all of our questions, and quickly checked us in. He remembered us from our previous visit back in October when we went to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. Do not expect the hotel to remember all previous guests, but that was nice for us. My wife and I like to stay in the king bed room with the Jacuzzi tub. This room is like that of the normal rooms, however, as the name states, has a Jacuzzi tub/shower, where just the normal shower is. This was nice to relax in after a long day of walking, whether in Colonial Williamsburg or at Busch Gardens. My wife and I have never been in the hotel's pool, however, it looks very nice from what we have seen of it. You can often see children and families going down to the pool. The free breakfast is nothing extravagant, but as a couple trying to save money, it was nice to stay at hotel with free breakfast. I would make a point to set an alarm each morning to get up before the crowd to make myself a cup of french vanilla coffee, a plate of eggs and sausage, or waffles. There are your traditional hotel breakfast foods, but it always filled me up and helped us save money while we were there for the week. Also, a tip -- they keep the coffee/hot water and juice machine on all day and you can stop by to get drinks as you like. Not sure if you are allowed to, but we did this over and over, another way to save money staying at this hotel. Also, this hotel is very close to most places in Williamsburg. While staying at the hotel, it only took us about 10-15 minutes to get to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, 10 minutes to Colonial Williamsburg, 10 minutes to Ripley's Believe It or Not, as well as across the street from Cracker Barrel (took forever to get food for takeout even when we called ahead), and there are some other good local restaurants and cupcake stores (Extraordinary Cupakes). A short drive away is an awesome area to go shopping and see a movie at the Regal New Town Stadium 12 Theatre.

"The hotel has been updated and is looking good!"

Visited Williamsburg with family and were assigned adjoining rooms by the front desk staff, Tim I believe his name is. I was surprised at this since it never occurred to me to request adjoining rooms, especially since one was an accessible room. Tim, the desk clerk, is a very welcoming and informative employee. The decor of the hotel has been updated and looks good. It's clean, the pool is great and the breakfast room is neat, clean and well supplied. Overall, I highly recommend this Sleep Inn.
