We were here two nights to visit Jamestown and Williamsburg. This is equal distance between the two, located within a mile of huge shopping area that even includes a Trader Joe's. We rented a two bedroom, two bath on the main floor. It had a full kitchen, sunroom and patio facing the woods. It was newly renovated and very clean and fresh. It even had 3 televisions-one in each bedroom and in the living/dining room. I recommend you skip the "free" offer, which we did, otherwise you will get hooked into a high pressure sales talk for a time share. Highly recommend! Great place with many amenities! Free wifi, starter coffee supplies.

This was our third time staying here and this time was very different than the other two times. The grounds are fabulous, the activities are plentiful. We got a two bedroom downstairs and the first room they tried to stick is in was old, dated and had a horrible smell to it. I immediately called and asked for a better room knowing there were much nicer rooms on the property. Why they try to give those rooms out is beyond me, they need to just remodel them like they have the rest. Had this been my first time I might have just put up with the old room and would never have returned. Out first night was great, no problems. The second night a family moved in upstairs, they had several small children and all you could hear was them running back and forth and what sounded like jumping off the bed repeatedly. I had to call security, it was so loud!! They told me they could call up there and ask them to quiet down but there was nothing else they could do since it was not after 11pm. I'm not usually one to complain, I have a granddaughter who was with us so I understand how hard it is keeping little ones quiet and entertained. My problem was with the resort, why on earth would you put children on a second floor above other guests? I can possibly understand if it was the middle of their busiest season but there were plenty of empty rooms all around us. I had to call at least twice more because the noise was insane. I got the same answer each time. By the third time calling Im sure the people upstairs were deliberately trying to make noise. I complained to the front desk when I checked out and nobody cared. I take a trip twice a year to Williamsburg and after this I'm looking for another place to stay, which saddens me because we love this place. Hopefully in the future they take the needs of their guests into consideration when placing them in rooms.

It was a great place. Clean and convenient. Nothing less than expected. Worth the money. The grounds were beautiful. I have stayed there more than once and I would easily go back. They have have a great reputation and have earned it.

This resort is outstanding, keep in mind it is a time share so you will be offered to take a tour, but if you politely decline the freebies its cool too. The resort is very historic and gives free tours of the Civil War era Plantation on the property on Saturday mornings. Grounds and pool areas were immaculate, lots of planned activities thru the day so kids are always entertained. Restaurant, coffee shop and quaint general store are also locate on the property. Well worth a visit! We have visited several times and will return. Summer rentals fill up quickly so book early.

"All the space you need and more"

We stayed in this resort on our recent trip to Williamsburg, and we really enjoy it, however the suit was just too much for 2, they provide you with great space, and even though we wanted a one bedroom room, we got one that had an extra room with a sofa bed. This seems like a perfect place for families, with their pools and ghosts stories
