"Nice Resort however, takes too long to check in and out"

After being on the road for a couple of hours all you want to do is check-in quickly. It took a total of about 30 minutes from start to finish leaving check-in. Way too long. Besides that a family of 14 people enjoyed the accommodations and the resorts amenities both pools indoor and outdoor. We had a party of 14 and the accommodations where great. Enough room for everyone and was even surprised on how comfortable the pull out couch was. The bathroom had great water pressure. Beds all comfy, the kitchen utensils and glassware all nice an clean. Security guards all smiles and greeting you every time you pulled into resort. Loved the feel of being all together and sharing meals as you where in your house. We used the washer and dryer many times. We all enjoyed the comfort of being in a house feel. Would use and rent again. Shopping was really close by with many different food establishments and shopping, Wal-Mart, etc... We stayed there to visit Busch Gardens and Water country USA. Both parks are only 15 minute drive.

The Golden Girls would like their furnishings back, and this place is where they can find it. The interior and exterior were probably nice 30 years ago, but now the turquoise carpeting, old floral drapes, and dirty blonde wood table with turquoise chairs doesn't cut it. The exterior is covered in webs and bugs with shutters and pieces hanging off. Do yourself a favor and find an upscale, clean, updated hotel.

Beautiful place driving up, different story when you get inside. First the pros, beautiful location, property outside, well kept, employees were super nice and friendly. We are diamond owners and the inside of the apartment is not kept up to the cleanliness we've come to know (and love) from Diamond. The cons, I have an 8 month old baby and had to vacuum the floor 1st before putting her down to crawl. Upon first glance the floor looked clean. However, there was food debris left over in the corners of each room and under furniture. I found a lot of stains from previous guests. The surfaces, kitchen table, end tables, living room furniture, bedroom furniture, was all dirty with sticky and previous dirt, not from us. I packed clorox wipes and cleaned the surfaces myself. The lamps in the bedroom were so very very dusty. I could've wrote my name in the dust. The bathrooms, had hair everywhere. In the shower, in the tubs, all over the floors. I took a vacuum to the bathroom and clorox bleached the bathrooms myself. The master bathroom also had a faint odor of urine. The dust is overwhelming. Especially in the washer and dryer area. If you open the door and look at the door, the dust is packed in the slats the door is made of. Over all, if someone would just come in and manage housekeeping, management needs to triple check the job of housekeeping because it isn't done properly. Show this place some love and care, treat the inside, like something you would feel good about your family staying in. Address the housekeeping problems. This place has SO much potential. It really is a beautiful place to stay. Just be prepared to come into everyone else's filth.

Families looking for a kitchen and space to play board games and hang out but still have pool and concierge this is the spot! Met my brothers family in Williamsburg for a 4 day vacation. We rented the four-room lock out I think it's called which means two condos connected in the middle. You can close the doors in between or leave them open the whole time as we did. The only sort of stranger thing was having 2 kitchens but then it was nice because of one of us woke up early we could make coffee without disturbing the other family. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our 4 kids, my mom, my brother and his 2 kids so it's quite large and both couches make a full size bed. For the little one the hotel had a pack-and-play. The master bedroom has a huge king bed and nice bathroom. Furniture well used but was fine for us. Kitchen had supplies we needed I would recommend they put salt and pepper packets in the kitchen. The one major downside of this property is that there is no cleaning service during the stay. You can go to the front to supplies is needed but other than that no housekeeping. We ended up vacuuming a couple times and took the trash out daily. We were at the top of three flights of stairs with no elevator. Next time I would probably request ground floor for bringing up groceries and luggage but it wasn't too bad. My mom has a hip that bothers her so the stairs were a bit difficult for her. The actual resort facilities and personnel were really nice. The outdoor pool is beautiful with a jacuzzi and small children area. There is a little mini golf course and bask set ball court as well as an indoor pool if it's raining (it rained 2 days of our trip). They also have activities and pool movies some nights too(check with activities desk). There was no food available for purchase at the hotel but we ordered Chinese food and Italian food that was good and brought to our room or pool area. I recommend this hotel for families with children of all ages. Lots of space and fun activities. If it was just hubby and me I would opt for something nicer I think but it was a super fun trip!
