"Solid concept, friendly staff, so so execution."

The idea behind the resort is solid. It consists of spacious town home like apartments. There are small playgrounds and bbq areas scattered throughout the complex. At the main building there is an indoor and outdoor pool, mini golf, a park with sand, ping pong, basketball and volleyball. They also have craft activities, but those you have to pay for. We went during off season so it was not terribly crowded but I can imagine that at the height of summer it could get crazy. The apartment has everything you need and is decently clean. The grounds could be cleaner...there was random garbage on the floor. The pool was a little cloudy too. I would not call the resort high end but effort has been taken to make sure you have everything you need for a nice stay. This is a good resort for families with special needs. It allows you to keep things the way you need them and the staff is accommodating about special requirements.

"Not worth the price!"

I reserved this resort for my birthday getaway from Groupon. I thought it was a great deal. 2 bedroom condo for $200 total. Before booking the resort, I read some of the reviews from previous patrons complaining the rooms were not depicted as seen in the pictures, so I was sure to call the establishment and personally request a newly renovated room. Dymond, assured me the room I was getting was newly renovated. She even stated the building I was going in was her favorite. However; upon arrival I was not at all satisfied. The room looked nothing like the photos and the furniture looked dated. Nothing like the photos advertised. I'm assuming the room shown in the pictures is a model and nothing more. My stay continues to go downhill from there. For this to be a resort, it was a substandard accommodation. I found the bathroom to be nasty. There was a urine or feces stain on the toilet seat. Thankfully I had Clorox wipes with me. The shower door had soap scum all over it, floors hadn't been vacuumed and the stairwell looked dirty and not hospitable. Both days of my check in, I walked downstairs to find garbage thrown about in front of the door. Also, I came home one night to a beer bottle on one of the steps to my room. Neighbors were having a party and were extremely loud. I had to go into my bedroom and close the door. I didn't complain because I didn't spend much of my time there. However; I was better off with booking a Holiday Inn Express room. This deal and establishment was not worth the cost and I will never recommend this resort to anyone.

"Worker Removed Personal Items From Our Room, Management Responded Poorly"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed January 03, 2017
A worker took two items which were eventually recovered, but we received no apology or explanation from anyone on staff, nor did the manager return contact about the incident. Full review - The grounds are nice and our room was clean. The furnishings in our particular unit were dated but pleasant. During registration, my husband was asked several times about a timeshare and declined. Be warned that they'll take a $20 deposit for the timeshare meeting regardless whether you intend to attend, but you can get this back if you remember to ask for it before checkout. The front desk called our room several times in the morning regarding the timeshare meeting. We did not attend the meeting choosing instead to explore the area. When we returned to the room later, my daughter's doll and stuffed dog were missing from the dining table. These were the only two items deliberately left on the table and we absolutely knew they had been there. We checked our other belongings and everything else appeared to be intact. Note that the hotel staff does not clean during your stay, so there was no reason for anyone to be in the room. We complained to the front desk and were told security could read the card reader to determine who had been in our room to "recover your items." About 45 minutes later, security arrived and used the card reader. The security officer pulled the data and asked if there were items missing which we then described. He told us those items had been turned in to lost and found earlier in the day. I questioned how that was possible when four adults witnessed leaving them inside the locked room, and he waved me off saying he would recover our items. About twenty minutes later he returned with the doll and the dog in a plastic bag. When I asked how they had been removed, he again waved me off responding, "I'm just glad you got your items back," turned and walked away. There was a tag in the bag with the # for the room next door. The whole situation was very strange. How did two toys that we deliberately left on the table get out of the room, and if they knew the room # why wouldn't we have been contacted? My daughter is not even 2 yet, so we were carrying her when we left and we all saw that we left those two things on the table. My husband went back to the front desk where they admitted the situation sounded strange and told him that the manager would call us in the morning. The manager never called. However while my husband was in the middle of sorting out the issue of missing items from our room, he was asked yet again about the timeshare.
