"Water Country USA - Great Experience"
August, 2016
Great time at Water Country. Family friendly with something for all ages - separate areas for families with small children, giant rides/slides and wave pool for the older kids and adults, comfortable distances between slides, and a great lazy river to relax in and float around. My kids would rather go there than to other amusement parks.
Tip: Get there early and find some chairs in the shade to park your belongings -towels, bags, etc.

"Fantastic Family Fun"
August, 2016
Water Country was great. The entire family from 6 years to 66 years old enjoyed the park. It was clean, safe, and well maintained. I loved the multi use pass, so we could enjoy a little bit each day. I would definitely take the entire family back!
Tip: Get to the back of the park first to ride the more popular rides before they fill up quickly!

If in the Williamsburg area you should definitely experience this water park.
Tip: In peak season plan to wait in lines for slides, but they really do move faster than you think.

"Easy and effective. Saved lots of money."
August, 2016
I wondered at first if the discounts were too good to be true, but after looking up reviews on the internet I decided the company is authentic. We saved a lot of money on tickets for our family of 5. The money we saved on tickets went toward the pricey parking lot and lockers at the park, along with some of the lunch. I would buy tickets through them again. Why pass on saving money?
Tip: Be prepared for the parking lot prices and locker prices.

Family really enjoyed Water Country. Lots of pools and slides for all ages and heights. My young grandchildren enjoyed it so much they never wanted to leave because there were so many slides and pools they could go on and in. Weather was pretty warm so water park was a bit crowded but still enjoyable.

The parking lot gates open at 9:15am, and we arrived at 9:30 and were able to get a spot under a tree right up front. General parking costs $15 and if you get there early enough, you don't need to pay more. There is a bag check when you first get in. You can't bring any outside food or drink, but we were able to sneak in two small water bottles and some granola bars. I signed up for their quick pay bracelet, which allows you to tie it to a credit card so that you don't need to carry a credit card around with you. This allowed me to leave my wallet and cell phone in the car. Because I had no valuables, I didn't need to buy a locker. The gates opened at 9:45am and we quickly walked to the wave pool to reserve some chairs. The wave pool area doesn't open until 10am, so you have to wait a little while. We got a couple of chairs immediately on your right under the wooden cabana, these are free, but very popular, so you have to get them quickly. They are great because they are close to everything and always covered in shade. Some of the rides like cyclone curl open at 9:45, if you can, get rides right away before the lines form. We did two runs in under 20 minutes. By the end of the day the line was about 30-45 minutes. We bought a big refillable cup for $14. Sound like a lot at first, but you get unlimited refills all day, and the rest of the year you only have to pay $0.99 per refill, even at bush gardens. With 4 people, two boys we will get our money's worth. Early in the day do all of the big rides, while the lines are short, and save the wave pool and lazy rivers until the end of the day. This is because there is no lines for these, so it is best to do them later once the lines get long on other slides. I wore my crocs on most of the slides and it saved my feet from all the cement walkways. For the free rides where they are not allowed they have places for your shoes. Overall we had a great time, we got in at opening, did all the slides we liked, Aimee more than once and was back at our hotel by 3pm.
