"Water Country USA - Great Experience"
August, 2016
Great time at Water Country. Family friendly with something for all ages - separate areas for families with small children, giant rides/slides and wave pool for the older kids and adults, comfortable distances between slides, and a great lazy river to relax in and float around. My kids would rather go there than to other amusement parks.
Tip: Get there early and find some chairs in the shade to park your belongings -towels, bags, etc.

"Fantastic Family Fun"
August, 2016
Water Country was great. The entire family from 6 years to 66 years old enjoyed the park. It was clean, safe, and well maintained. I loved the multi use pass, so we could enjoy a little bit each day. I would definitely take the entire family back!
Tip: Get to the back of the park first to ride the more popular rides before they fill up quickly!

If in the Williamsburg area you should definitely experience this water park.
Tip: In peak season plan to wait in lines for slides, but they really do move faster than you think.

"Easy and effective. Saved lots of money."
August, 2016
I wondered at first if the discounts were too good to be true, but after looking up reviews on the internet I decided the company is authentic. We saved a lot of money on tickets for our family of 5. The money we saved on tickets went toward the pricey parking lot and lockers at the park, along with some of the lunch. I would buy tickets through them again. Why pass on saving money?
Tip: Be prepared for the parking lot prices and locker prices.

They serve really good popcorn here, to start! It is also full of fun rides and a lot of kiddie rides for the little ones. My favorite part of the whole trip was swimming in the wave pool! Go see for yourself!

"Best place to be on a hot day!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

This is a great place to go on a very hot day or if you just want to take a break from history stuff. There are a variety of slides and pools for all age groups. If you have toddlers, they will love the kiddie pools and slides. If kids are older, they can go off on their own to enjoy this manageable size water park. It does get crowded on hot days so if you don't want to stand in line for the slides, just go enjoy the large wave pool. They are a stickler for bringing in outside drinks and food--so don't try because they thoroughly check bags--which is annoying because food and drinks can be pricey for a family. Some people just leave the park when it's time to eat and come back later. Access to chairs and life jackets can also be problematic on a really crowded day. However, these issues aside, it's a cool, refreshing fun day!

"Great Summer Fun!"

Our family of four had a blast at Water Country USA in August. Our children ages 8 & 12 went on every single ride multiple times during our 5 day stay. We choose to do the Busch Garden/ Water Country passes which were good for 7 days what a great deal. There are tons of hotels within a couple minutes of both parks and lots of stores and restaurants near by. We arrived each day at opening. Parking and entering was easy and quick. They do offer an accessibility program for those who need but it is not offered on all rides. You choose 3 rides at a time before having to go back to customer service to choose another three more. Not all rides will clearly state where handicap accessibility entrances are although, must you enter the same way just a separate roped off line or through the exit. The passes allow you and 3 other family members to enter with you through the "quick queue". Water shoes are a plus for sure. There's a lot of stairs and hot cement floors. There are lockers located throughout the park. The wave pool was fun and definitely something even the very little ones can do. Concession stands are located throughout the park and all have a variety of food to choose from and prices are pretty reasonable. Lines moved fast and the staff were all friendly. There are several sections throughout the park for toddlers and younger children to also enjoy. The lazy river was okay but definitely a way overcrowded to really enjoy. I went back and fourth with whether to rent a cabana for the day or not and I'm glad we didn't. We literally spent our entire day on rides and in the water having fun it would've been a waste. For those parents with older children who are okay with leaving/allowing their children to roam throughout a busy water park alone then renting a cabana might be a better option for you as we saw no need. There are tons of pool chairs at the wave pool, kiddie splash area, lazy river, and the jungle gym water slide area. They allow GoPro's on most rides. And don't forget your sunblock and pool towels!!

They do this place right, and there genuinely is something for everyone of every age -- at least, all of us who like water. No matter how crowded it can get, you still feel somehow like you're having a pretty intimate family experience. And the high diving act is really cool
