We had a terrible experience from a ridiculous movie with water sprayed on our scared children and shockingly horrible exhibits of shrunken heads and a fake dead body hanging off a rope. This is neither interesting nor family friendly. We left quickly after the laser tag and some other game.

"Fun as a Circus, Interesting as a Museum!!"

We found more fascinating and bizarre things at every turn, and there were a lot of them!! Like a fun house - but with a ton of curated remarkable pieces (along with the weird stuff). The whole family (mom, dad, and boys 8 & 11) got a real kick out of it! We bought the combo 5 attraction ticket, and while the two smaller activities inside (the push and laser games) were not the highlights, the 4D movies were a really fun add-on! The museum lay out reminded me of an amusement-ride, the entire attraction has really well maintained exhibits, and it is a very clean/family friendly environment. Would definitely recommend it!!!

Not worth the price of admission. Some interesting stuff, but money can be better spent at the mini- golf and go kart park.

My family of 4 had a great time today at the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum. We purchased tickets for 5 attractions (museum, two games and two 4D movies). The museum was clean and well maintained. The displays were well described and covered multiple subjects (animals, artifacts, torture, human oddities, and more.) There were lots of free interactive activities for all ages, but our favorite part was the 4D movies. Prepare to get sprayed! A great time was had by all!

Ripleys believe it or not is a place packed to the brim with very unusual items, things, pictures, displays, etc... it's connected by a bunch of rooms that weave throughout the building. We spent about 2 hours walking around and reading and looking at everything. We also added a 4-D movie option to our ticket and we actually liked that better than the main attractions.. We watched 4 4-D movies which were in 3D but then there were things that happened to you like water squirting in your face, things bumping behind your seat... It was very entertaining and a nice way to end the visit. If you have kids it's definitely a great way to spend an afternoon... I forget how much we paid but I do know we purchased our tickets at a discount directly from the website so check groupon and the website for any discounts that might be available.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum & 4D Theater

What goes on in the 4D Theater?
We have two different shows running in our theater. They alternate every half hour starting one hour after we open. The shows are similar to an amusement park ride, only the chairs do not move so no one gets tossed around. Each show is about 15 minutes long. You watch them with 3D glasses while we spray you with air and water, tickle your legs and several other surprises. The shows themselves are appropriate for all ages, although sometimes small children are scared of the dinosaurs.

Are your exhibits different from other Ripley’s?

Yes! Everything is real and unique. Some of the Odditoriums may have a few of the same wax figures, but the artifacts are all unique to each show.

Are the attractions wheelchair accessible?

We are ADA compliant and we have 4 available spaces in our 4D Theater specially designed for guests in wheelchairs.

Where can I park?

We have ample and free parking at the Odditorium.

Do you have a snack bar?

We do not allow food or beverages in the attractions, but there are approximately 20 restaurants within a 1-mile radius of our location.

Can I take pictures?

Yes. You may take as many pictures as you’d like.

How old do you have to be to enter by yourself?

You must be 13 or older to be in the attractions by yourself. Anyone 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Does the Mini-Golf cost extra?
Yes, you can purchase a ticket at the front desk.
